Love Beautiful Fall Days!

Another great day! It was beautiful out! only thing that would have made it better would have been if James could have been with us. After a fun night at church last night, kids slept until almost 8. We had baked oatmeal at 9. Then super playtime for the kids and alone cleaning time for me. A beautiful drive listening to King of the Wind. So much fun before we even made it to Shaw Orchard. We got there and took a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch. Tons of pumpkins- all shapes and sizes.
T found the biggest one we could carry.

After our hayride, we took a trailer ride out to the apple orchard where we had "the best apples ever." They were so good we picked over 60 pounds.  you can't beat 75 cents a pound. When we wrote in our thankful journal tonight, the kids listed what they want to make- apple pie, crisp, butter, ...

We got home and T couldn't wait to ride his bike- our newest 2 wheel bike rider. James has been teaching him to ride with no training wheels and today he learned start his bike by himself. We rode around the block enjoying the great day. Then home for white chicken chili and cornbread. And ended the day with popcorn and family movie night. So thankful for wonderful fall days with family!
